چکیده

ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to evaluate the seropositivity rapid immunoglobulin G (IgG) and M tests in patients recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).BackgroundRapid severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) antigen-detection can give results less than 30 min detect SARS-CoV-2.Patients methodsThis case–control performed Toluca, Mexico, September October, 2020. Rapid test older 18 years who were diagnosed with COVID-19. Quantitative data presented as mean ± SD qualitative percentages. Pearson correlation between COVID-19 clinical severity scale waist BMI variables.ResultsTwenty-five included (mean age, 45.24 years). Through correlation, a positive relation found score circumference (R2 = 0.161, P 0.046844) first 0.157, 0.049918). The 23.12 15.23. Sixty-eight percent obtained for detection IgG antibodies. In exceed manifestations, all antibodies against SARS-COV-2 after several months.ConclusionPatients comorbidities had higher predisposition more disease, highest intensity signs symptoms, immunological response, probability having over time.

Anticardiolipin Antibodies and Immunoglobulin M and A in Graves’ Disease

Background: Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disease, characterized by the presence of antibodies directed to TSH receptor or nearby regions as well as antibodies to double strands DNA (dsDNA) anticardiolipin and nuclear antibodies. This study evaluated anticardiolipin and rheumatoid factor, such as IgA and IgM antibodies in patients with Graves’ disease. Patients and methods: Anticardiolipin a...

Serum immunoglobulin E and immunoglobulin G reactivity to Agaricus bisporus proteins in mushroom cultivation workers

Background and Purpose: Although molds are regarded as the main fungal allergen sources, evidence indicates that spores of Basidiomycota including Agaricus bisporus (A. bisporus) can be also found at high concentrations in the environment and may cause as many respiratory allergies as molds. The aim of the present study was to evaluate specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) and immunoglobulin G (IgG) ...

A Case of Bruton’s Disease with Normal Immunoglobulin G Level

X-linked agamaglobulinemia (XLA) or Bruton’s disease is a genetic disease resulting from a mutation in the Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (Btk) gene. This mutation leads to B cell arrest during differentiation (1). This disease was first described by Ogden Bruton in 1952 (2). Approximately 85% of the affected subjects are male (3). This disorder is inherited as an X-linked recessive trait. Carrier fe...

PREPARATION OF ENRICHED IMMUNOGLOBULIN M AND IMMUNOGLOBULIN A FROM HUMAN PLASMA

As IgM and IgA-enriched preparations are needed to complete the immunotherapeutic spectrum, a simple procedure is described for the preparation of IgM and IgA enriched immunoglobulins. Fraction III which was prepared by cold ethanol fractionation was treated by octanoic acid followed by ethanol precipitation and ion-exchange chromatography using Sephadex DEAE A-50 and 0.1 M tris-D.35M NaCI ...

Humoral immunity in leprosy: immunoglobulin G and M antibody responses to Mycobacterium leprae in relation to various disease patterns.

A solid-phase radioimmunoassay, applying whole Mycobacterium leprae as antigen and radiolabeled protein A from Staphylococcus aureus as antibody-detecting reagent, was used for the determination of specific immunoglobulin G (IgG) and IgM antibody responses in leprosy patients. High IgG anti-M. leprae antibody levels were found in lepromatous leprosy patients, whereas the antibody response in tu...
